Skills gained: > Familiarisation & safety > Opportunity to try out different events |

Skills gained: > Able to run own sessions > May specialise in one or more events > Able to supervise assistants |
2) How the club encourages and supports you to become involved in coaching
> Active encouragement of parents, senior athletes (17+) and relatives becoming involved in coaching
> Mentoring approach, leveraging the experience of our senior coaches > Minimal time commitment requirements
> Club funding of uk-athletics courses, subject to meeting skills attainment & experience pre-requisites
> Complimentary club membership
> Retrospective refund of one annual subscription (subject to meeting minimum session attendance requirements) and attainment of at least Level 1 qualification
> Mentoring approach, leveraging the experience of our senior coaches > Minimal time commitment requirements
