Just a couple of reminders

- It's our home Eastern Young  Athletes League next Sunday 3rd July. This means we have non scoring and scoring  events so you can have a go at different and your usual events. You can let  either Tim or any of the other coaches know by email or in person asap. The  timetable is on the middle distance pages under whats new.

--Watford
open  meetings continue every second Wednesday with oppportunity to get a pb.ask me if  you are interested.

-We have 2 more championships in the Summer the  South of England and Nationals . Check with your coach if you have reached the  required standard for entry and then If you are interested print off an  application form from apprpopriate web site and send them off with payment to  the address on the form . The Nationals have entry Standard.

- Parents
  who would like to help at the home fixture can let me know. We need help with  putting tents up at 9.30 and also a rota for the tea tent. We may also ask for  parents to make cake and or sandwiches . We will post this on the message board.

Parents, Grandparents, Guardians and wider family we really need your help. 

The Committee, club officials do an enormous amount in the background to  make the club click and the coaches work tirelessly to run the sessions all  week. Occasionally we need extra help.

On 19th June and 3rd July we have  home meetings at Westminster Lodge which need lots of extra help - see separate  message.

Club Trailer
We have a trailer that we use to carry  equipment for the club. For many years we have been lucky that our previous  Treasurer has housed and towed it but we now need to find a number of people  with tow bars that might be able to help occasionally and look for somewhere to  store it. Club Container
The club container at the track continually needs maintenance. We are about to undertake a number of internal changes to enable us to store equipment. If you are that way disposed can you contact me on. Peter Poulain 07905956893

Coaching
We are always in need of more coaches so if you  would like to get involved we can give you the training through UKA to get you  started. Equally if you know anyone in the St Albans area who might have previously competed or have been coaches before please encourage them or  yourselves to get in contact with Debbie Steer who is our coach coordinator. 07947074284

Officials
At every meeting home and away we have to supply  officials who measure, rake, time and ensure the safety of the athletes. 
If  Coaching is not your bag perhaps you could give some time at the track  meetings  to help. We are luck to have Sue Smith who has been short listed for  the  Olympics officials coordinates for the club - 07989970104 if you can help.


Help we do not even know we need!!!!!!!!
If you have another talent that you feel may help the club please let us know. It may be making signs,   advertising, marketing, sponsorship, training methods, helping once a year at  the presentation evening, Physio.................. it really could be anything.  Please let me know - Peter Poulain - 07905  956893  

Monies
I know there are always huge pressures on finance but please  try and renew  and pay subs and for extra sessions promptly as it save a lot of admin on behalf  of our membership secretary and treasurer.
